Press release   •   Sep 05, 2014 10:13 CEST

Farnborough, July 15, 2014 – Satair is today celebrating 25 years of working with Honeywell Sensing & Control. Satair entered into its first agreement with Honeywell in 1989, covering what was then known as MICRO SWITCHTM products. Since then, Satair has expanded to include many more product lines, from switches over sensing products to cargo y-guides and complex LRU’s.

Honeywell´s engineering excellence is unrivaled and its key switching and sensing products -- from discrete components to pilot interface and controls - are developed to fit the needs of the widest range of customers. Satair´s expertise as a world leader in sales and distribution of spares for aircraft maintenance enables the two companies to work together and create remarkable synergies for customers.

“One of the sublime things about working with Honeywell and their sensing and control products is the outstanding quality,” said Steen Karsbo, Head of Business Partner Development and Marketing and Communication at Satair Group. “Our long business history with Honeywell has created an extremely valuable partnership that I am most happy to continue for the next 25 years to come.”

“We thank Satair for the strong relationship and are confident they will continue to provide a high level of service to our customers through their comprehensive sales, warehousing, and logistics management capabilities worldwide,” said Remi Volpe, Vice President & General Manager, EMEA, Honeywell Sensing and Control.

Airbus Material & Supply Chain Services and Satair are part of Satair Group, a 100% stand-alone company and Airbus subsidiary with $1.3 billion revenue, more than 1,000 employees worldwide and a vision to become the global market leader in the civil aircraft parts management business in 2017.
